A Retreat for Women
October 11 thru October 14th
This will be a very unique experiential retreat designed to reconnect you to the rhythm of Nature.
The Medicine Horse Project is partnering with Goating Green, LLC a local goat herder in a once of a lifetime opportunity.
You will have the opportunity to submerge yourself in nature, with a meadow and creek running through the historical property. Spend time with goats, horses and learning the history of Unionville.
Each day there will be Resiliency Through Horsemanship programs (this is a non-riding program) to participate in as well as activities with goats, meditation and a cheese making class.
Accommodations will be in a beautiful, historical Unionville home constructed in the 1800's and all your meals will be included.
Cost: $1250.00 all inclusive registration requires a $200.00 deposit. (if participant cancels less than 1 month prior to retreat deposit is non-refundable) must be paid in full by September 15th.

An Inspired Women's Retreat

We will dive into the 4 keys to resiliency over two and a half days stripping away false labels, assumptions, and opening our hearts, bodies, minds and spirits to uninhibited dreaming, goal setting and inspiration. The Healing Herd of rescued horses will guild us on a journey of inspiration.
This retreat takes place at The Medicine Horse Project ranch in the beautiful Buena Vista Valley of Northern Nevada. Unlimited sky view full of stars and surrounded by glorious mountain peaks.
Equine activities will vary all with a focus on building, connection and communication with previously abused, abandoned or neglected horses.
All equine activities are on the ground, there is no horseback riding in this retreat.
Visit the local natural hot spring for a soak. Have a drum, rattle or even a rain stick or tambourine? Bring it for a drum circle with the horses.
All meals and rustic, off grid accommodations provided.
Climate is warm during the day with temperatures ranging between 75 to 100 degrees with cool breezy evenings.
Space limited to 8 participants - 4 with rustic tiny cabin accommodations and 4 camp site accommodations (if you choose to camp at one of our Hipcamp sites $100.00 off registration fee)

If you are camping, you will be required to bring your own tent, camper, vehicle to accommodate your sleeping arrangements, all meals are included with registration.
The 4 Principles of Equine Survival is a 4 session program learning the principles of equine survival and how those principles are prioritized within their lives.
We will dive into how these principles and explore how they impact equine training development.

Horses are the pure definition and example of resiliency and we see it and experience it everyday in horse rescue.

Breaking through the Fear - Developing Resilience and Confidence

Choice is a powerful gift to give anyone. Working at liberty to deepen connection, communication and relationship.
We will dive into equine psychology, drive vs. draw and developing the "want" in our horses.
